Role Introduction:

Engineering’s ambition is to be one of the world’s highest performing, customer centric and progressive engineering teams and the role of the Senior Engineering Digital and Processes Engineer is to deliver Digital solutions enabling Engineering operations to deliver industry highest performance. This requires developing internal digital solutions, collaborating with Corporate Digital team and selected partners to develop digital and technology solutions to support improving Engineering processes and decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Engineering Digital team is responsible for providing data insights and analytics solutions to Engineering, which are too complex for business unit self-service, to support Engineering’s Digital Transformation.
The Senior Engineering Digital and Processes Engineer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME), with skillsets on data analytics techniques, IT tools and Data. The person is also responsible to support the growth of Engineering digital community, and self-service analytics.
1）Develop and implement digital solutions to solve Engineering business problems.
2）Be a SME for data analytics techniques and tools, providing best practices and guidance to other Engineering users.
3）Be a SME for the ENG data model, enabling Engineering and other users to leverage data effectively.
4）Deliver centralized data analytics and digital solutions service in Engineering, meeting the needs of Engineering business units for operational excellence.
5）Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
6）Any other reasonable task as requested including non-operational duties and projects
Qualifications / Experience:
1、Academic Qualifications
Degree in IT Analytics discipline or a proven data analysis role.
2、Knowledge, skills, training and experience
1）Typically 6 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data management and related activities or equivalent.
2）Experience in managing projects
3）Experience in the use of IT data analytics tools and data preparation
4）Good communication and interpersonal skills (e.g. influencing and negotiation), with excellent command of both spoken and written English.
5）Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change.
6）Able to collaborate multi-skilled teams.

Role Introduction:

Engineering’s ambition is to be one of the world’s highest performing, customer centric and progressive engineering teams and the role of the Senior Supply Chain Analyst is to be responsible for driving business improvement initiatives and supporting effective management of expendables and consumables parts (CE parts) that support the maintenance of the Cathay Pacific fleet. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will use LEAN methodologies and principles to drive business improvement and inventory optimisation activities, and work across suppliers, manufacturers and internal stakeholders to optimise cost of ownership of CE parts and ensure operational availability service levels are met. This role will support the management of the life cycle of inventory, deal with manufacturers and suppliers, and support implementation of business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1、Drive business improvement initiatives in Inventory Management using LEAN methodologies and principles
2、Regularly optimise spare re-order levels to ensure operational service levels are achieved at minimal cost
3、Perform spares and tooling initial provisioning activities
4、Continuously identify cost-drivers and initiate cost mitigation actions
5、Manage service providers and suppliers to ensure CE (consumable and expandable parts) programmes are properly implemented, monitor Key Performance Indicators and drive improvement plans
6、Collaborate with stakeholders to drive alternative Parts Manufacture Approval development activities and identify alternative sources of parts to optimize supply chain resilience
7、Proactively identify and manage surplus, excess or obsolete spares to optimise inventory
Management of spares sales, surplus sale packages and surplus consignment programmes
8、Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
9、Any other reasonable task as requested including non-operational duties and projects
Qualifications / Experience:
1、Academic Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Logistics and Supply Chain discipline (or a suitable equivalent)
2、Knowledge, skills, training and experience
1）Minimum 6 years of relevant experience working with airlines, MROs, OEMs or suppliers and supply chains
2）Exposure to inventory management, procurement, supply chain management
3）Good commercial acumen, analytical skills and process-oriented
4）Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
5）Adaptable to change. Proven ability to identify and drive process improvements
6）Experience of using LEAN techniques to drive business improvement initiatives
